I used to think coming out of the dark would feel dramatic — like a sudden sunrise. Instead, it has felt more like walking a wooded path at dusk, the trees still thick around me, but light breaking through ahead. I am not who I was. Not because the storms disappeared, but because God has been faithful to grow something steadier in me as I walk.
